SKUGGI
This 3-coloured male is born on the very special day December 31st 1999.
He is a real sociable dog, as well as a real working dog. You cannot do
him a bigger favour than going on a long hike or bicycle tour. As he discoveres
the Icelandic horses on the sandy plains, he has an unknown indurance
to run with them. He is a dog with a very friendly nature, he also likes
to have a game but he will never bite. He sees the sandy plains as his
territory and when he is there he shows this with a great display of power,
barking and standing proud, as if he is telling the other dogs : watch
out, I am the master of these plains.
Skuggi has single dewclaws, His HD is B1 and he is free of inherited eye
diseases.
He is certainly not a small male as his height is 49cm.
IDA
Vinkærgard Ida is our first female, imported out of Danmark. She
is born October 7th 2000. I picked her up in Ebeltoft, in the company
of Lone Jødal from Godrumgaards Islandse Fårehunde. Her fur
is dark brown ( chocolate ), which is not very common for Icelandic dogs.
Her eyes have the same colour as her coat.
She is a very friendly natured dog, she checks out what's happening before
getting involved. She likes to play with children or to help me in the
garden. She likes to play fetch with sticks and catching and burying her
frisbee. She also likes swimming.
Her height is 44cm. Her HD is A and she is free of inherited eye diseases.
LJOSADIS
This female is born on Valentines day February 14th 2003. She likes to
play and follow the other dogs. She also likes children a lot and is happy
with the other dogs. Her eyes have been tested and found free of inherited
eye diseases.
ALUKSI
This female is daughter of Ida and Skuggi, born in their first litter
November 25th 2003. She is a real lovable dog, she enyoies caressing a
lot.
